Sardines pepper fry/mathi kurumulakittath

Sardines/mathi green pepper fry is a healthy side dish for rice or any other main course.

  • 6 Sardines/mathi
  • 2 to 3 strings Green pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 stem Curry Leaves


Step 1:

  • Take cleaned green pepper and water in a blender add some salt. Blend until the pepper gets ground completely and mix well with water.

Step 2

  • Pour this mixture in a pan. Add sardines in it and switch on
    the stove, keep it in a high flame for 10 minutes.

Step 3

  • When the water content reduces to its half, keep it in a low flame.

Step 4:

  • After 5 minutes, add curry leaves and a tsp of coconut oil.

Step 5:

  • After 1 to 2 minutes your green pepper sardines fry will be ready to serve.
